FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions.
Leather
Leather is often chosen for its luxurious appearance, durability, and comfort. It typically features a rich texture with natural color variations and subtle grain differences. Leather is a comfortable material that becomes even softer and more pleasant over time and is renowned for its durability. As a natural skin, leather has limited elasticity, so all leathers will stretch and, in most cases, will never return to their original state. This is a natural characteristic of leather, not a defect.
Leather Maintenance
- Regularly clean leather with a soft, clean cloth to remove dust and dirt.
- Use a leather-specific cleaner, following the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Moisturize the leather by applying a conditioner or cream specially designed for leather. This helps prevent drying and cracking.
- Avoid direct exposure to sunlight and excessive heat, as this can damage the leather.
- Also, avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners that could damage the leather’s finish.
- If stains appear, address them promptly using products suited to the type of stain and the type of leather.
- To extend the life of your leather furniture, avoid placing it near heat sources or direct sunlight (UV rays) and encourage gentle use to prevent scratches and damage.
- Due to the nature of the dyes used for cleaning fabrics, it is possible that your cleaning cloth may stain the leather. No warranty applies in this case.
- Tear Prevention: Avoid placing sharp or pointed objects on leather, as this could cause tears or permanent damage.
- Although leather is supple and flexible, repetitive impacts can damage it.
Faux leather
Faux leather, also known as synthetic leather or faux leather, offers an affordable and practical alternative to genuine leather. It provides benefits in terms of maintenance, variety of styles and colors, and environmental friendliness as it can be made from recycled materials.
Maintenance Tips:
- Regular Cleaning: Wipe with a soft cloth to remove dust and dirt particles from the surface of faux leather. Regular cleaning helps prevent the accumulation of dirt and debris.
- Damp Cleaning: Use a damp cloth with warm water and a little mild soap to clean light stains or stubborn dirt. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the faux leather coating.
- Drying: After damp cleaning, wipe the surface with a dry cloth to remove excess moisture.
- Avoid Direct Heat: Keep faux leather away from direct heat sources such as radiators or heaters. Excessive heat can damage and dry out the faux leather coating.
- Avoid Sun Exposure: Avoid exposing faux leather to direct sunlight for long periods, as this can cause fading and cracking of the material.
- Tear Prevention: Avoid placing sharp or pointed objects on faux leather, as this could cause tears or permanent damage.
- Avoid Leather Protectors or Chemical Cleaners as they may damage faux leather.
- Despite faux leather being supple and flexible, repetitive impacts can damage it.

- Heat Protection: Use coasters or trivets to protect the table surface from the heat of hot dishes or glasses containing hot liquids.
- Cold Protection: Use coasters or trivets to protect the wood surface from dishes or liquids that are too cold, as extreme temperatures can damage solid wood.
- Avoid exposing solid wood to sunlight (UV rays).
- If you place decorative items on the table such as pots or vases, please move them regularly to prevent the natural discoloration of the table surface from occurring uniformly.
- Extensions should be opened regularly to maintain color uniformity, which can change with daylight.
By following these tips, you can keep your solid wood table in good condition and ensure its long life while preserving its natural beauty.
Wood veneer
Wood veneer consists of thin slices of natural wood, called veneers, which are glued onto support panels such as plywood or MDF. Wood veneer provides the natural appearance and beauty of real wood with greater flexibility, better dimensional stability, and a variety of styles and finishes, making it a popular choice in furniture manufacturing.
- Regular Cleaning: Regularly clean the wood veneer table surface with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and dirt particles.
- Damp Cleaning: If necessary, use a slightly damp cloth with warm water to clean the surface. Avoid using too much water, as excess moisture can damage the veneer.
- Use of Mild Products: If you need to use a cleaner, choose a mild, non-abrasive product specially designed for wood furniture. Apply it to a clean, dry cloth and then gently wipe the wood surface.
- Immediate Drying: After cleaning, be sure to immediately dry the wood surface with a dry cloth to avoid moisture absorption and prevent water damage.
- Protection from Heat and Moisture: Avoid placing hot or damp objects directly on the wood veneer table top, as this can damage the veneer. Use coasters or trivets to protect the surface.
- Avoid Scratches: Use tablecloths to protect the veneer from scratches caused by utensils, plates, and glasses.
- Avoid Placing Hot or Very Cold Items: Use trivets to protect the wood veneer surface.
- Spills: Spills should be wiped up immediately as they could damage the wood veneer.
- Decorative Items: If you place decorative items on the table, such as pots or vases, please move them regularly so that the natural discoloration of the table surface occurs evenly.
- Extensions: Extensions should be opened regularly to maintain color uniformity, which can change with daylight.
